Mini Keylogger is the best solution for anyone who wants to monitor their computers. Whether you're an employer, a parent or just an individual, there are many situations when you have to use a keylogger.
Mini Keylogger is extremely easy to use. After downloading the program, you have to unzip (extract) the Mini Keylogger files to a new or empty folder. That folder will contain the program file MiniKeylogger.exe and a couple of txt files. With the main program ("MiniKeylogger.exe") you have to configure and build the "module" file ("module.exe") - "module" which is the actual keylogger that has to be installed on the system you intend to monitor.
The same "module" file can be installed on two or more of your systems. Mini Keylogger licensing is per user, so you need only one license to monitor all the systems you own.
Mini Keylogger cannot be found in Task Manager, Start Menu, Taskbar, Add/Remove Programs Menu and can usually run smoothly together with various protections implemented on the monitored systems. Mini Keylogger is a professional utility able to run in complete stealth mode and, unlike other free or paid keyloggers, is virtually undetectable by most antivirus programs. Mini Keylogger is undetectable when scanned with Windows Defender, Norton Antivirus, Kaspersky Antivirus, McAfee, Panda, AVG, Avast, TrendMicro.
Mini Keylogger works on all 32bit and 64bit Windows operating systems versions in use: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11.
3. Installation
At the first run of the main Mini Keylogger app, the user is asked to read, understand and agree to the license terms and conditions (EULA). The users must agree to the terms of the EULA before being able to use the software.
Mini Keylogger is provided as a portable application that doesn't have to be installed, and doesn't drop any files in your system folders - so it doesn't leave footprints on the system you run it on. All the files required to run Mini Keylogger reside in a single folder, which you can put anywhere on your system (or even on a USB flash drive).
As for the "module" file (the actual keylogger), it is somehow portable, too. You can save the "module" on a USB flash drive and install it from there with just a doubleclick.
After being installled, the "module" can be uninstalled with the hotkey CTRL-SHIFT-F3 (enabled by default).
4. Reports
The reports (logs) can be manually retrieved from the main Mini Keylogger app (click "Retrieve Logs" -> "Automatically Retrieve Logs") or the "module" can be configured to send the reports to your email account.
The email log delivery (see Email Settings) can work with any email provider, there's no restriction implemented by us, but it's better to use a paid-for email account. The free email accounts are not reliable mainly because of their spam filters.
To make log viewing a simple task, Mini Keylogger has a built-in utility ("Log Viewer") in which the user can easily see the monitored activity section by section.
5. Settings
The initial configuration (default) settings of Mini Keylogger can be a good option for some users, except the case when you want to receive the reports by email - and in this case you have to configure the Email Settings.
On the Main Settings panel you are able to change the interface language (English, French, Portuguese), configure Mini Keylogger to remember your settings and password protect it. Whenever you need to reset the program to its default settings, Mini Keylogger offers an easy way to do this (click "Load Default Settings" button).
On Basic Settings you can set the keylogger icon, add a file version information and set the name used by the "module" after installation. The "module" can be configured with one of the included icons or with another icon of your choice. When you build the "module", it can be configured with the file version information from another program (by example Photoshop) - it may help on avoiding antivirus detections.
The Email Settings panel should be configured if you want to receive the reports by email. All the fields should be filled correctly. You have to write an address of yours on "Send Email From", the log-in password for authentication, and another address of yours on "Send Email To" field (this is the address where you receive your reports). The "SMTP Address" and "SMTP Port" are required (check your email provider's documentation for correct settings).
On Module Options panel you can adjust the "module" behavior according to your needs:
- overwriting option allows the "module" to be replaced by another "module"
- melt option means the "module" deletes itself after the first run
- the "module" can be configured to be active after a minutes interval or after the system reboot
- the "module" can be configured to display a warning when running
- the "module" can be configured to uninstall itself after some logs are sent
- the "module" can be configured to be uninstalled with a hotkey (default is CTRL-SHIFT-F3)
On Logs Options you can set the option to receive more readable logs (without dead keys and arrow keys). Even more, the keylogger can be configured to delete the last typed characters from the log when BACKSPACE key is used ("Apply BACKSPACE" option). The visited websites history can also be included in the logs. Finally, there's the option to receive the reports/logs either at a minimum size, at a minutes interval or at a days interval.
6. Security

There are a lot of paid or free keyloggers on the web which cannot be used because of antivirus programs. Most of the keyloggers are detected even by Windows Defender (the default Windows protection). In our case, we guarantee Mini Keylogger is undetected when scanned with Windows Defender, Norton AV, Kaspersky AV, AVG, McAfee, Panda, Avast, TrendMicro. We build Mini Keyloggers almost daily, and all the builds are scanned with the mentioned antivirus programs to make sure they're undetected.
You should be aware that only the full version of Mini Keylogger is undetected. The trial is detected by most of the Antivirus programs, as it's publicly available and all the people scan it on VirusTotal. We don't even update the trial and make it undetected because it would be detected again in ~24 hours. The trial version of Mini Keylogger is not for testing the detections, but only for testing the compatibility and see the way the program works. You should temporarily disable your antivirus for proper testing.
7. Legality
Mini Keylogger is the best solution for anyone who wants to monitor their computers. Whether you're an employer, a parent or just an individual, there are many situations when you have to use a keylogger.
A large majority of companies practice some form of employee monitoring - this is the right solution (when done ethically and legally) for purposes of improving productivity, payroll and security.
As a parental control software, Mini Keylogger is useful for parents who need to know what their children may be exposed to when they're on Internet. A parental control software isn't a substitute for good communication, but it helps parents to take proper actions.
Mini Keylogger is not intended for hacking or any other malicious or unauthorised usage. Mini Keylogger must be used in a lawful manner. You must be the authorized system administrator, the owner of the computer to be monitored or you must have the permission from the owner of the computer to install the keylogger. In the case you are not the system administrator, the owner of the computer or do not have the permission from the owner of the computer, you don't have the right to install our monitoring software. If you intend to monitor your employees, you could be legally obliged to inform your employees that they are being monitored. Before using Mini Keylogger it is strongly recommended to check the local laws in your district/country.
